Don’t miss your chance to be part of the 15th annual Putnam County Wine & Music Fest! Your participation is essential for the festival’s success.
Volunteer Roles:
- Set Up and Breakdown: Assist with event setup and post-event cleanup.
- Tasting Glass Distribution: Provide wine glasses to guests.
- Vendor booth Assistance: Guide attendees and offer information about food and wine pairings.
- Cleanup Crew: Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Street Team: Distribute promotional materials to local businesses and install yard signs.
Requirements:
All ages are welcome to volunteer, but you must be at least 21 years old to participate in activities involving alcoholic beverages.
Registration:
Check in at the Volunteer Registration Desk to receive your assignment and further instructions.
Benefits:
Volunteers may receive festival merchandise and will gain valuable experience while supporting the local community.
Important Guidelines:
Dogs or other domestic animals are NOT allowed on the festival site.
Consumption of wine or any other alcoholic beverages during your shift is prohibited. Volunteers who consume alcohol while working will be dismissed and disqualified from future volunteer opportunities.
If you notice someone who is overly intoxicated or if you encounter any safety issues, please notify your Volunteer Lead. If you cannot find your Lead, inform another Lead, the Volunteer Coordinator, the Event Producer, or Security. Do not try to resolve the situation on your own.
Please be aware that no one under the age of twenty-one, including infants and children, is allowed in areas where alcohol is served. Additionally, family members or friends are not permitted to accompany you during your shift unless they are also assigned as volunteers.
